I can't wait to get going - Waxy

It’s a great feeling getting back into cricket especially with everyone at SBCC. I’ve enjoyed 2 years at the club on and off the field and am thoroughly looking forward to this season. My time in Australia was great although the club I was at didn’t have the same success I’m used to with SBCC I personally was pleased with my performance for the season.

I feel as for this is our first season in the Premier league and there is no relegation process for the season it’ll be great for everyone to go out on the field and express what they can do. We go into a new league as a club for the first time which will bring it challenges however I know this won’t faze anyone in the team as we always have played and planned in a positive manner.

My personal goal is to first do everything I can on the field to make the club come out on the victorious side, I can do this by scoring as many runs during our short season and also contribute with the ball and in the field. As we know cricket can sometimes not be your best friends I can then help the team by giving individuals my thoughts on what we may need to do to be the best on the day.
