4/4 is a great start are you surprised?

I'm definitely surprised, but at the same time, I know we have a strong team mentality which has helped us win. A lot of promoted teams going into premier leagues are very inexperienced in the way that they're approach the game, but we are lucky to have characters with very good 'cricket brains', which help us to look upon the game in a tactical sense

How have you felt about your own performances so far this season?

I've been happy with my performances overall, doing what is necessary with both bat and ball to get the team over the line. Generally, I feel like I have set the tone well with the ball up top, even if 5fers haven't yet come my way. Sometimes you need to do the donkey work to get the team through.

As we approach the half way point what should our goal be for this season?

A great goal for us now is to finish top of our south group, and give the winner of the north group a competitive game. I also think it is a good idea to solidify a 12 who will be playing next season, because if you look at teams that win consistently, they almost always have a committed squad for the season
